The gig in Sackville was Awesome... It was great to see you solo in Moncton, and to see you with the band in Sackville, well, it's a whole other show... Also, Al with the band... man, that just kicked a@*!! Got the cds, loving them!! Can't believe you have already come and gone!! Hope the Cops didn't run you out of town ;)... Did not know Sackville had such great security (HA). Well, we all made it home o.k. And Al, not that I want to "damage" your image, but, thank you so much for the book... It was so thoughtful of you... these qualities are so rare today as most people are so self involved... Anyhow, I am loving it... Hope both of you get back safe... Don't let the cops scare you, do come back next year :) Much love xxx

The Place: ABERDEEN CAFÉ, Moncton. The Time: Hmmm some cool September evening. The Show: was AMAZING!! Are you kidding me?? Ya brought the house down, and Down, and Down to it's knees. Those who missed it, sadly, Regret it :( But not me. No, no. I'm all smiles ;) Floating, still. Maybe I can catch your show in Sackville. Stumble into a poem or two and get lost in a song for a while... m

Wow, watching those viper sets with Jimmy and Steve on your site was a real treat for me. Any chance of getting Steve into the studio, or coming to Portland, OR with Steve and Jimmy in the line up? I really enjoy the vibe you have going with those guys. Wonderful music, keep the faith man. Keep on rockin" B.A. Ray Portland, OR bibliocephalus @ gmail . com

Thanks for taking the time to play for the Calgaryfolk. Had a great time at the Auburn and I'm really liking the CD. I'll definitely be coming out to see you again whether in Van or if you find your way out here again. Keep it alive, Petunia.

Hi there, I had a hell of a hunt to find out who you were but I did it. I saw you playing on the landing in Steveston a week ago and was just so impressed. I got to sit at a beautiful cafe with a front row seat to enjoy you and your bandmate play, how wonderful! I will be coming to an upcoming gig in the future! Thanks for your lovely gift.

We saw your Video on Bravo on Sunday (which airs again on Friday June 5th on Bravo at 8:30PM). It was very good. We liked seeing you with all that make-up on. Great songs, we couldn't get it out of our heads all week long. And congratulations on the littlest "heartbreaker"

Holy Cow! I heard your cd "The ugliest, bitterest, coldest, dreary place I've ever seen" in a record shop. I YELLED "SOLD" and I told the owner I would give you HELL when I see you for not having enough YODELING along with the good music on the cd. Come back to Ontario for a few shows! By the way I'm a YODELING fan.

Hi Petunia... we "discovered" you via our longtime pal, Jimmy Roy. Will see you around Vanc. from now on for sure! Oh, yeah, for "Jeanie A W" who asked about the song about Cabbage Head, well it's an old trad song, just called Cabbage Head, I think -- and there's a great cover of it by Doctor John on his "Goin' Back To New Orleans" CD from about 10 yrs ago... ok, enuff musicology! See you live, soon...
